PROJECT MAIN ACTIONS:
  1. Data collecting and analyses of the so far realisation of the ENP policy and the SP with Russia;
  2. Improvement of understanding and raising awareness of citizens, especially young people in the ENP partner countries and Russia on the EU policies, in particular on the ENP and on the SP with Russia;
  3. Strengthening of cooperation and enhancing dialogue between different stakeholders of the EU and the ENP partner countries and Russia in the Projects issues;
  4. Development of good local governance, human rights, minority protection in the ENP partners countries and Russia;
  5. Improvement of understanding within the EU of the actual development problems and tendencies in the ENP partner countries and Russia;
  6. Dissemination of information;
  7. Recommendations for future development of the cooperation of the EU with the ENP partner countries and Russia in the field of the ENP and the Strategic partnership with Russia and
  8. Creation of conditions for efficient sustainability of the Project’s results and for successful follow up of its activities.


PROJECT ACTION PLAN:

PLAN OF ACTIVITIES IN THE 3rdPROJECT YEAR:

  1. Four two days Experts Meetings (EM) on the achievements and problems in developing cross-border cooperation / neighbourhood programmes of the EU     countries with Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Moldova;
  2. Four two days Workshops (WS) on local self-government;
  3. Four two days Workshops (WS) on discrimination, human rights and freedoms, minorities’ protection;
  4. One five days Summer School for the leaders of youth organisations and university students in Moldova.


PLAN OF ACTIVITIES IN THE 4TH PROJECT YEAR:

  1.  Four two days Round Tables (RT) on the promotion of the implementations of the EU ENP Action Plans and Strategic Documents goals, on the impacts of these policies on the development opportunities of the ENR partner countries and Russia, and on the recommendations and proposals for the improvement of the EU-ENR partner countries and Russia cooperation;
  2. One two days seminar in Maribor (Slovenia) on the understanding within the EU of the actual development problems and tendencies in the ENR partner countries and Russia;
  3. Concluding conference in Maribor, Slovenia;
  4. Sustainability and follow-up activities;
             - Project Network “EU-ENP-Russia BRIDGE”
             - EU Centre for Promotion of Cooperation with the European Neighbourhood and Russia – ECCEN.


EXPECTED RESULTS:

  1. Trained and educated civil servants and civil society representatives;
  2. Informed and trained academic staff of the universities;
  3. Informed and educated young people;
  4. Established dialogue and cooperation between different stakeholders;
  5. Disseminated information between different stakeholders in the frame of the ENP Cross-border Cooperation Programme;
  6. Informed and educated different stakeholders on migration and border management activities;
  7. Enlarged cooperation between stakeholders on EU programmes in the field of education, culture and science;
  8. Better information and greater awareness of stakeholders on good governance, human rights, minority protection;
  9. Improved understanding of stakeholders in the EU of the actual development problems and tendencies in the ENR partner countries and Russia;
  10. Better informed national governments and the relevant EU bodies on the view-points and opinions of the civil society organisations and institutions;
  11. Better advised and informed wider public in the ENR and EU partner countries and in Russia on the Projects` topics.
